General travel information for Thailand

When is the best time to visit?

The best time to visit Thailand is during the dry season, which runs from November to April. The weather is cooler and there is less chance of rain. However, this is also the busiest time of year, so be prepared for crowds. If you want to avoid them, consider visiting Thailand during the shoulder season, from May to October. The weather is still pleasant and there are fewer tourists. As for cannabis, you can be sure it is available in abundance throughout the year. If one shop runs out, just browse the dispensaries to find the next one.

What should I pack?

When traveling to Thailand, be sure to pack light and comfortable clothing. The weather can be hot and humid, so it’s best to dress in breathable fabrics. And don’t forget to pack your sunscreen! Thailand is a tropical country, so there is a risk of getting sunburned. As for smoking accessories, you can still get in trouble for other countries’ borders on layovers holding cannabis or accessories. So leave your weed, pipes, bongs and vapes at home, there’s enough around in Thailand. If you do need to bring anything, make sure to stay up to date on the latest laws before going.

Where should I go in Thailand?

If you’re looking for a city with plenty of culture and history to explore, Bangkok is the place for you. There is no shortage of things to see and do in the capital city, from temples and palaces to markets and nightlife. You can also enjoy Thai food at its best in Bangkok.

If you’re looking for a beach destination, Phuket is the perfect choice. The island has some of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand, as well as crystal-clear water and lush jungles. Phuket is also home to some great nightlife and restaurants.

If you’re looking for a more laid-back experience, Chiang Mai is a great option. The city is surrounded by mountains, making it a great place to escape the heat. It’s also home to some beautiful temples and an interesting culture that is worth exploring.

There are of course many more destinations to visit around Thailand. Be sure to check out some regular travel guides for more general travel information.
