While we were hanging out in Bangkok and exploring the different dispensaries the city had to offer, we were surprised at how many dispensaries where closed early on a Saturday night. When asking our Instagram followers on where to go we got a welcoming invite from the Weedview crew. To be honest, we were skeptical about taking a 25 min taxi ride across Bangkok in almost flooding conditions, but we were glad we did. We received a very warm welcome and tour of the shop, products and most importantly, buds. Flower was priced much more reasonably than in the more touristy areas and they has several top shelfs with the highest price we saw being 650 baht/gram.
We were told the dispensary is owned by a local co-op of Thai growers who also staff the shop. This is great if you are looking to support a fully Thai owned dispensary that also sell Thai grown cannabis. They also stock their own label of smoke accessories consisting of rolling trays, grinders, containers and more. They also sell drinks and light snacks for you to enjoy.
On the second floor of the shop we were welcomed into their smoking area and we were met by a smoky atmosphere, chill vibes as well as the rest of the dispensary co-owners and other guests. We figured the best way to end a day of smoking would be to break out a gravity bong and luckily they had one! As well as many other smoking tools and accessories that we could borrow. Just after hitting the bong, the live music took to the stage by the window, and the vibes were flowing. The only negative we could think of was the comfort of some of the seats. But nothing that would stop us from going back.
We highly recommend Weedview not only for their hospitality, but also for a great dispensary with many quality strains. If you are looking for a chill night out with friends or to meet some chill and local growers, this is a great place to go. We will surely visit this place the next time we are in the area.
